I got this recipe from Mr. Breakfast and didn't like it until I made some changes. Now, it is the best waffle recipe I've ever used! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white flour |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 cups buttermilk (i used sour milk, milk and vinegar) |
1/3 cup oil |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Whisk together dry ingredients. 2. Whisk together wet ingredients and add to dry. 3. Pour into preheated prepared waffle iron. |
