A favorite from the book Bread Machine Magic by Linda Rehberg and Lois Conway. Ingredients:
for 1 1/2 pound loaf |
1 3/8 cup buttermilk |
3 cups bread flour |
1 cup rye flour |
1 1/2 tsp. salt |
1 1/2 tbsp. butter |
2 tbsp. brown sugar |
1/4 tsp. baking soda |
1 tsp. caraway seeds |
3 tsp. yeast |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in bread pan and press start. Or use the dough cycle and let raise in pan and bake in your reg. oven. |
