Buttermilk Pork Chops Ingredients:
2 cup buttermilk |
3 tbsp honey |
6 cloves garlic, minced |
4 pork chops (3/4 inch thick) |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
2 tsp salt |
1/2 tsp pepper |
Directions:
1. Make marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, honey, garlic, salt and pepper. Place pork chops in a resealable plastic bag (or baking dish); add marinade and seal (or cover). Refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 1 day. 2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Lift pork from marinade, letting excess drip off (discard remaining marinade). Place pork on foil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, patting them on lightly. Bake until crumbs are browned and pork is cooked through, about 35 minutes. |
