This is an old favorite recipe from my husband's grandmother that passed away a year ago. We make in memory of her every now and then. This is very easy to make. Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 cups buttermilk (can use sour cream) |
1/2 cup raisins |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt. 2. Add buttermilk. 3. Stir until mixed well. 4. Add raisins. 5. Use your favorite two crust pie crust. 6. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees; 30 minutes at 350. |
