This is a yummy different type of pecan pie. This recipe was in our local newspaper... it was a big hit... my daughter in law's mother made this pie... They loved it. Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
1 tablespoon of flour |
8 tablespoons of butter |
1/4 cup buttermilk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees 2. Beat eggs with a whisk. Add sugar and flour; beat well. Add 3. melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir well 4. Sprinkle pecans pieces evenly into pie crust; pour in egg mixture. 5. Bake about one hour or until golden brown and set. |
