Buttermilk Pancakes With Oatmeal |

Pancakes every sunday, have lots of recipes to share. = ) Ingredients:
2 cups quick oats, uncooked |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
2 1/2 cups buttermilk |
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons splenda |
1/4 oil |
2 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix oats, soda, cinnamon and buttermilk. Let stand 5 minutes. 2. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. 3. Add sifted dry ingredients, oil and eggs to oats mixture. 4. Stir until combined. 5. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup batter onto hot, lightly greased griddle. 6. Bake to a golden brown, turning only once. 7. Serve hot with butter and syrup. |
