Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 tablespoon light corn syrup |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup butter (no subs) |
1 cup broken pecans |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT nuts in heavy saucepan. 2. Cook to soft ball stage on a candy thermometer, then 1 more notch. 3. Remove from heat and add nuts. 4. Stir for 2 minutes. 5. Pour into greased 8x8 dish. |
