I read the reviews so I hunted down the recipe again and it read 1 2/3-2 cups all purpose flour. Sorry for the misprint it should be good to go now. This is a great dumpling recipe. Ingredients:
1 2/3-2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 egg, beaten |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine buttermilk, baking soda, and baking powder stir until mixture foams. 2. Add salt and beaten egg-mix well. 3. Stir in enough flour to make a soft but firm dough. 4. Drop by teaspoonfuls into simmering broth. 5. Cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes. |
