                    This recipe goes with Humboldt Bay Oyster-Cornbread Dressing Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal  |  
                                                1/2 cup all-purpose flour  |  
                                                2 teaspoons baking powder  |  
                                                1 teaspoon salt  |  
                                                1 teaspoon sugar  |  
                                                1/2 teaspoon baking soda  |  
                                                2 large eggs, lightly beaten  |  
                                                1 1/2 cups buttermilk  |  
                                                1/4 cup vegetable oil  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Heat a well-greased 10-inch cast-iron skillet at 450° for 5 minutes. 2. Combine first 6 ingredients. Stir together eggs, buttermilk, and vegetable oil; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Pour batter into hot skillet. 3.
