A very easy & tasty southern pie. Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup flaked coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
5 eggs
1 deep dish pie shell, unbaked
Directions:
1. Melt butter.
2. Add next 5 ingredients.
3. Beat eggs lightly & add to first mixture.
4. Pour into pie crust.
5. Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes.
