What is better to go with sausage gravy then this!!! Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 tsp. baking powder |
1/4 tsp. baking soda |
1/4 cup buttermilk |
1/4 cup butter |
1/4 tsp. salt |
Directions:
1. COMBINE flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. 2. CUT butter into flour mixture with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly; add buttermilk , stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. 3. (measurements will be on the side of the stick of butter if you are not sure) 4. TURN dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead two or three times. 5. PAT or roll to 1/2 -inch thickness; cut with a 1-1/2-inch round cutter and place on a baking sheet. 6. NOW bake at 400F for 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden. 7. Enjoy your morning everyone! |
