Ingredients:
1 package(s) yeast |
1 tablespoon(s) water |
1 tablespoon(s) sugar |
1 cup(s) lukewarm water |
1 stick(s) butter melted |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
3 whole(s) eggs beaten |
4 cup(s) unbleached all purpose flour |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
Directions:
1. Dough: 2. Combine yeast in 1 tablespoon water combined with 1 tablespoon sugar. 3. Add lukewarm water, cooled melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, flour, and salt, mixing well. Place in greased bowl, grease top of dough and refrigerate overnight. 4. Rolls: 5. Divide dough in half and roll out on floured surface about 1/4 inch thick. Cut both portions into 16 wedges (as for pie) and rollup from wide end to tip. Place on greased baking sheets and let rise about 2 hours. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned. |
