Ingredients:
1 package(s) dry yeast |
3 eggs |
1 stick(s) butter, melted |
1 cup(s) warm water |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
5' cup(s) flour |
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Set aside. Beat eggs, add sugar, salt and mix well. Add melted butter and yeast mixture. Stir. Add flour and mix well. Set in a greased bowl and chill in refrigerator overnight. Four hours before baking divide dough into 3 parts. Roll each part on a floured surface into a circle 1/3 inch thick. Cover entire surface with butter (this butter is in addition to the 1 stick butter in recipe) and cut into 8 wedges. Roll, starting at widest end. Place on greased baking sheet and let rise. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. 2. Also makes good mini loaves-4-5 greased tins. |
