PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 10 minutes A slightly spicy, delicious and unique BBQ food, easy and fast prep, and can be a finger food for your little ones! You can use the marinade as a marinade or a glaze for the BBQ, either way is delicious. My babies have loved this recipe since before they could walk. -Use the curry according to your own tastes. You can make it more or less spicy- Ingredients:
1 lb turkey (boneless, skinless breast is best) |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
3 tablespoons lime juice |
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes |
2 teaspoons curry powder |
1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Butterfly turkey tenderloins lengthwise. Gently flatten between two pieces of wax paper. 2. Combine other ingredients in a Ziploc bag and marinade turkey for 1-2 hours or more, depending on your time-frame, -OR- use the marinade as a glaze for the turkey while you are BBQ'ing them. 3. Grill on your BBQ, cooking each side for 5-10 minutes. |
