This was my solution for dealing with the leftover Halloween candy. I made them big. Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened |
6 t sugar |
6 t brown sugar |
1/4 t salt |
1 1/2 t vanilla |
1 large egg |
1/2 c plus 2 t whole wheat flour |
1/2 c flour |
1/2 t baking soda |
2 cups chopped butterfinger candy bars |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375. 2. Beat the butter, sugars, salt, and vanilla until combined. Beat in egg. 3. Whisk together the flours and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. 4. Add in butterfingers and stir. 5. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and drop them about 3 inchs apart on ungreased baking sheets. 6. Bake 9 to 12 minutes. |
