Ingredients:
2 pounds parsnips, scraped and shredded |
2/3 cup water |
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. Place parsnips, water, butter, sugar, and salt in a small Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss with parsley before serving. |
