this dish goes well with bread or the traditional indian bread, called roti or naan Ingredients:
1/2 kg chicken breast (cut into cubes) |
100g butter |
150 ml natural fresh youghurt |
120 ml cream |
1/2 tsp chili powder |
1/2 tsp cloves |
1/2 tsp coriander powder |
1 medium lemon rind |
8 pcs cardamom |
4pcs bay leaves |
2tbsp tomato sauce |
salt and pepper to taste |
ginger,chopped thinly |
garlic chopped |
1 1/2 cup water |
Directions:
1. prepare the chicken and put salt and pepper 2. mix youghurt chili powder,coriander powder,tomato sauce,lemon. 3. pour in to the cubed chicken and mix well 4. marinate for at least 15 minutes so that the chicken will absorb the sauce 5. in a sauce pan,saute garlic, onion,ginger in the butter until it will be golden brown 6. put the marinated chicken including the marinade 7. mix well until it will be fried in the butter 8. put water ,bay leaves,cloves and cardamoms 9. bring to boil until he chicken will be tender 10. keep enough gravy with the chicken 11. lower the heat and put the cream 12. serve hot with a soft bread or roti |
