Buttered Carrots

Ingredients:
2 ounce(s) butter
2 pound(s) carrots
chopped parsley to garnish
salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Peel the carrots and cut into four lengthways, then cut each quarter into 5cm strips. Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook the carrots for 10 minutes. Drain well.
2. Heat the butter gently in a large frying pan. Cook the carrots in the butter for 5 minutes until tender. Season to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
