These are a great addition to the butter tart family. We often us a margarine /butter combo or just margarine. Then we call them margarine tarts . They disappear just as fast.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
3 cups brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup butter
4 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup raisins or 1/2 cup currants
prepared butter prepared tart shells
Directions:
1. Beat eggs well. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Then add butter and vinegar, stir. Then add rasins or currants (if desired). After stirring it all up fill tart shells 2/3 full. Bake tarts until light brown. Then enjoy.
