These are a great addition to the butter tart family. We often us a margarine /butter combo or just margarine. Then we call them margarine tarts . They disappear just as fast. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
3 cups brown sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup butter |
4 tablespoons vinegar |
1/2 cup raisins or 1/2 cup currants |
prepared butter prepared tart shells |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs well. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Then add butter and vinegar, stir. Then add rasins or currants (if desired). After stirring it all up fill tart shells 2/3 full. Bake tarts until light brown. Then enjoy. |
