This is an incredible way to eat spinach. Buttery, herby and just flat out good. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons butter |
1 pound fresh spinach cut into small pieces washed and stemmed |
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter. 2. Add spinach to skillet then cover and cook over medium heat 3 minutes. 3. Remove cover and stir spinach until leaves are wilted and tender about 1 minute. 4. Season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. |
