2 cups butter |
2 cups chopped celery (stalks and leaves) |
1 cup minced onion |
3 cups fresh sliced mushrooms |
14 cups dry bread cubes |
1/4 cup chopped parsly |
1 tablespoon sage |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large heavy skillet. Add celery, onions and mushrooms; cook until onions are yellow, stirring occasionally. 2. Stir in some bread cubes; repeat, stirring to prevent browning. 3. Combine with remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Toss lightly. Cool and pack loosely into turkey. |
