Butter Frosting for Sour Cream Cut-Outs

This is L.G's recipe. It is a perfect frosting for cut-outs. Make sure that the frosting is whipped thick. Set done cookie on table to dry for several hours.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
4 cups sifted powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 -3 tablespoons whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 dash almond flavoring
Directions:
1. Cream butter. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until frosting is smooth.
2. Add food coloring in separate bowls or cups.
