A crockpot recipe Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken, boneless and skinless |
2 teaspoons garam masala |
2 teaspoons paprika |
2 teaspoons ground coriander |
1 tablespoon ginger, grated |
1/4 teaspoon chili powder |
1 cinnamon stick |
6 cardamom pods, bruised |
1 1/2 cups tomatoes, pureed |
1/4 cup plain yoghurt |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/2 cup cream |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Trim fat from chicken and cube. 2. In crockpot first 9 ingredients and cook on low for 4 hours. 3. Combine yoghurt and cornstarch. 4. Turn slow cooker to high and add yoghurt mixture along with remaining ingredients. 5. Cook another 10 min or until sauce has thickened. 6. Serve with steamed rice. |
