This dish has a nice spicy flavor but not hot. Is great when served over rice. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 cup chopped onion |
2 teaspoons ginger |
1 tablespoon garlic |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon turmeric |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 (16 -19 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
2 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 rotisserie-cooked chicken |
1/3 cup light cream |
1/4 cup light sour cream |
1 tablespoon cilantro |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet. 2. Add garlic and onions. Fry 2-3 minute. 3. Add rest of ingredients down to chicken. Simmer on low for 10 minute. 4. Add chicken and creams and simmer 5 minute. 5. Serve over rice and garnish with cilantro. |
