Butter Brickle Decadence Bars |

We served these bars at a wine and food pairing at the wine shop where I work. (We paired them up with an Australian tawny port!) Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
6 ounces butterscotch chips |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/4 cup dark corn syrup |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chopped walnuts or 1 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Mix crust inredients till crumbly, press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes. 3. Melt topping ingredients except nuts in a saucepan. When smooth add nuts. Bake 10 minutes at 375°F. |
