This is an easy cookie recipe. When you need something sweet, and delicate. Great for a tea party. The lemon is a nice twist. Comes from TOH Fun Food cook book. We give them a 5 at our house. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/4 cup confectioner sugar |
1 pkg. instant lemon pudding mix |
2 tsp. water |
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
2 cups all purpose flour |
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts |
2 heath candy bars ( chopped) i used toffee bits |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the pudding mix, water, and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Stir in nuts and chopped candy bars. 2. Roll in 1 in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes before removing to wire racks. 3. Makes about 5 dozen. 4. Note there are no eggs in this recipe. |
