this is a recipe that I came up with. My friend love it. Ingredients:
6 large green apples |
1/4 cup melted butter |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
1 cup packed brown sugar |
1 tablespoon cinnamon |
1 tablespoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. peel, core, and cut apples in half, and place in slow cooker. 2. Drizzle with melted butter, and lemon juice. 3. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. 4. Cover & cook on low for 3 hours, or on high for about 2 hours. 5. It can be served with vanilla ice cream. |
