Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup melted butter |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon almond extract |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups flour |
3 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Blend 1 1/2 cups sugar and melted butter. 2. Beat in eggs. 3. Stir in almond and vanilla extracts. 4. Add salt and flour and mix well. 5. Spread batter evenly in a greased-and-floured, 9-inch round pan. 6. Sprinkle with toasted almonds and sugar for garnish. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. 8.
