This is the easiest recipe for dessert bars I've ever made, and it's quite delicious. Recipe courtesy of Country Cookbook Douglas County Grange (Wanda Olson, Kellogg Grange #811). I used butter in place of oleo (I think this is an old recipe). Serving size is estimated. Ingredients:
6 ounces chocolate chips |
6 ounces butterscotch chips |
1/2 cup oleo |
1 cup peanut butter |
1 cup walnuts, chopped |
10 1/2 ounces miniature marshmallows (1 bag) |
Directions:
1. Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, oleo, and peanut butter in double boiler. 2. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts. 3. Pour over 1 package miniature marshmallows. 4. Place in 9x13 pan and refrigerate to cool. |
