Just like those yummy buster bars at the Dairy Queen. Ingredients:
2 cups confectioners' sugar |
1 cup evaporated milk |
6 ounces chocolate chips |
1/2 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 (15 ounce) package oreo cookies, crushed |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups spanish peanuts |
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened |
Directions:
1. Combine confec. 2. sugar, evap. 3. milk, choc. 4. chips and 1/2 c. 5. butter. 6. Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly. 7. Add vanilla and cool. 8. Combine crushed cookies and 1/2 c. 9. melted butter. 10. Pat into a greased 9 x 13 pan. 11. Freeze until firm. 12. Sprinkle peanuts over cookie crust. 13. Spread softened ice cream over peanuts and cover with cooled chocolate mixture. 14. Freeze until ready to serve. |
