Speak of SWEET SURRENDER from Arabic cuisine, speak of Busabal Halib. This is the most yummiest dish I've come across of late. Makes me want to go and make it right now(4:40am!). Cant wait for next weekend to give this a go. In the pic that accompanies this recipe, this looks soooooo good! Ingredients:
250 g boiled rice |
150 g sugar |
25 ml rose water |
1 liter milk |
5 g fresh lime leaves |
5 g orange leaves |
nuts, to garnish |
sultana, to garnish |
Directions:
1. Cook sugar, rose water, milk and leaves till it becomes thick. 2. Strain. 3. Add boiled rice. 4. Cook till the mixture becomes thicker. 5. Garnish with assorted nuts and sultanas before serving. |
