To complete this main dish, serve burrito wedges topped with shredded lettuce, chopped tomato and salsa. Sliced fruit makes an easy dessert. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix |
3/4 cup water |
12 flour tortillas |
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans |
1 cup mexican style shredded monterey jack and cheddar cheese blend |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Brown meat in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. 3. Add seasoning mix and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 min., stirring occasionally. 4. Place 4 of the tortillas on bottom of greased 9-inch pie plate. 5. Cover with half each of the refried beans, meat mixture and cheese. Repeat layers once. Top with remaining 4 tortillas. 6. BAKE 30 minute or until heated through and cheese is melted. Cut into wedges to serve. |
