I find it intriguing that there is a savory cheesecake. I have been looking a the reviews for a few and there are many unsavory ones too - if you know what I mean. I think this one will do you good. Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature |
1 cup red hot pepper jelly |
2 cloves garlic, finely minced |
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro |
1 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Place cream cheese, 1/2 of the jelly, garlic, cilantro and cheddar cheese in a food processor. Process until evenly blended. 2. Line the bottom of a 7-inch heart-shaped pan with parchment paper. Spray the sides of the pan with nonstick spray. Add the cheese mixture. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 3. Remove cheesecake from pan. Garnish with remaining 1/2 cup jelly and red peppers.
