This is an easy, flavorful appetizer. A friend made them for potlucks and everyone loved them. Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. butter |
1 qt. red wine (burgundy is best) |
2 t. worchestershire sauce |
1 t. dill seed |
1 t. pepper |
1 t. garlic powder |
2 c. boiling water |
3 beef bouillon cubes |
4 lb. fresh white mushrooms |
salt |
Directions:
1. In a large Dutch oven, combine butter, wine, Worchestershire , dill, pepper, garlic, water, and bouillon; bring to a boil. 2. Let boil a minute or two. Place stemmed mushrooms in mixture. Boil another minute or two. Serve warm. |
