Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound(s) boneless chuck roast cut into 1 1/2 cubes |
2 tablespoon(s) butter |
1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil |
1 turnip, large cut into 1 pieces |
1 pound(s) small white onions peeled, cut |
1 pound(s) carrots cut into 1 pieces |
3 tablespoon(s) flour |
1 cup(s) beef boullion |
1 cup(s) burgundy |
dash(es) worchestershire sauce |
6 peppercorns |
3 bay leaves |
Directions:
1. heat butter and oil, brown beef, turnips, onions and carrots. Add flour, stir and cook. Add bouillon, wine, worchestershire sauce, peppercorns and bay leaves. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs. |
