From . Remember these? I loved them and thanks to TSR (Recipe created by Todd Wilbur ) you can reinvent them in your own home. Although the TSR version says to use mayonaise- the BK broiler I knew had ranch on it ( /wiki/BK_grilled_chicken_sandwiches. So use which one you remember! one chicken breast produces 2 sandwiches. But in this recipe I have changed the mayo to the RANCH dressing. Since a ranch dill sauce was used in the actual sandwich. Ingredients:
3/4 cup water |
2 teaspoons ketchup |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon oregano |
1 dash onion powder |
1 dash parsley |
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, filleted thin and pound flat |
4 hamburger buns with sesame seeds |
1 1/3 cups chopped lettuce |
1/4 cup ranch salad dressing |
8 slices tomatoes |
Directions:
1. make marinade in medium bowl. 2. pound chicken flat between saran wrap. 3. marinate chicken for at the very least 4 hours (overnight is the desired of course). 4. heat grill on high heat and grill chicken 3-4 minutes per side. 5. toast buns slightly (remember bk they go through on a little conveyer belt). 6. spread your ranch on the top bun (or mayo if you prefer) then put about 1/3 cup of the lettuce on that place 2 tomato slices on the lettuce. 7. place the chicken on the bottom bun and then close sandwich and serve. 8. **i actually remember eating these with a little ranch on the side to dip in**. 9. enjoy! |
