Bulgogi Chicken Lettuce Wraps With Asian Pear |

easy light dinner with tons of flavor and texture - we loved it since the weather has been so warm... Ingredients:
4 organic boneless skinless chicken thighs |
for bulgogi marinade |
2 tbs asian pear grated |
2 tbs soy sauce |
1 tbs sugar |
1 minced scallion |
2 cloves garlic, grated |
1 tsp ginger, grated |
1/2 tsp sesame oil |
to serve |
lettuce leaves |
shredded or sliced asian pear |
gochujang (korean hot sauce) |
toasted black and white sesame seeds for garnish |
Directions:
1. Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and add the chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or preferably overnight. 2. Setup a barbecue, or move your oven rack to the top position and turn on the broiler. 3. Grill the chicken until they are cooked through. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes. Cut into small cubes. 4. Serve with lettuce leaves, Asian pear and gochujang. |
