A simple flavored Asian meal. Serve with egg rolls or wantons. Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs round steaks, thinly sliced |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 tablespoons oil, seperated (canola, or sesame) |
1 tablespoon water |
3 carrots, sliced or julienned |
3 green onions, chopped |
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
1 tablespoon sesame seeds |
2 cups cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, soy sauce, 1 tablespoons oil, onions, water, and garlic. Stir in steak, coating well. Cover, allow to sit for a minimum of 30 minutes. 2. Toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from skillet. 3. Heat 1 tablespoons oil in a skillet. Add beef mixture and carrots. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until done. You may cover and cook on low heat until steak is tender. Serve over rice. |
