BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Pillar Estate in Mesquite Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
25 to 30 chicken wings |
vegetable oil for deep frying |
4 tablespoons butter |
6 tablespoons hot sauce |
2 cups blue cheese dressing |
Directions:
1. Cut wings in half at the elbow then remove and discard tips. 2. Deep fry in small batches in 3” of oil heated to 375 for 10 minutes. 3. Drain on paper towels. 4. Melt butter in a saucepan and combine with hot sauce. 5. Place cooked wings in a large bowl and pour sauce over them. 6. Toss to thoroughly coat with sauce then serve with dressing. |
