I used to spend alot of money going to a restraunt here in town on their chicken chunks. I figured I could make them on my own-and I did. Many of my friends said I should open up my own wing spot. Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, cubed |
1 egg |
1/4 cup water |
flour (enough to coat the chicken) |
salt |
pepper |
paprika |
oil |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1 cup franks red hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Heat oil to 375 (I prefer a fry daddy). Combine egg and water and beat to make the egg wash for the chicken to be dipped into. Season chicken with the salt, pepper, and paprika. Dip into egg wash then flour. Shake excess flour off of the chicken prior to frying. 2. Fry Chicken for 8-10 minutes or until chicken floats to the top of the grease. 3. While Chicken is frying, combine butter, ketchup, and hot sauce in a sauce pan and heat until bubbling(stirring frequently). Set aside. 4. Once chicken has cooked, drain then coat in sauce or you can use the sauce for dipping chicken bites individually. 5. Enjoy! 6. *You can also add a tbsp of cayenne pepper for more heat and a 1/2 tablespoon of italian dressing for more zest. |
