Buendner Spinach With Smoked Bacon |

Very simple recipe and similar to what I make on weekends to go with my eggs. Ingredients:
4 ounces smoked bacon (speck) |
1 garlic clove |
2 cups spinach, fresh |
salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook the thinly sliced bacon until transparent. 2. Chop the garlic and saute it in the bacon fat. Saute the spinach with the bacon and garlic until just cooked. 3. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. |
