This is so simple and yet tastes so good. This recipe came from the Food Editor of the St Petersburg Times back in 1985. Enjoy!!!!
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef, cubed
1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 cup red wine (burgundy preferred, of course)
mushrooms or onions or garlic (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Place all ingredients in baking dish and stir well.
3. Bake for 2 hrs.
4. Uncover the last 1/2 hr so the liquid will cook down.
5. Serve over noodles.
