I love this chicken salad - it's so simple and easy to make - yet it is delicious - sweet and has a great flavor. I got it from my good friend Bucky who was a great cook and used to share recipes with me everyday at work. Ingredients:
6 chicken breasts |
1 cup mayonnaise (more if needed) |
1/2 cup chopped apple |
1/2 cup chopped green grape |
1/2 cup chopped red grapes |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
2 tablespoons sweet pickles |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook chicken - set aside to cool. Mix together all ingredients. Chop chicken up into small pieces after cooled and add to all other ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste. |
