Ingredients:
2 cups buckwheat flour |
1 cup whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 tbs. baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon cardamom |
1/2 cup almond milk |
3 tbs. coconut oil |
1 egg white |
1 cup blueberries |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients. 2. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients (milk, oil and egg white.) 3. Add wet ingredient mixture and blueberries to dry mixture and stir until just moist. 4. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough 10 times. Roll dough to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut dough into twelve triangular pieces and transfer to baking sheet. 5. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack and serve warm. Makes 12 servings. |
