This recipe came from my great-aunt. These don't last long at Christmas time. They are a peanut butter cup in a ball. A little time consuming, but well worth it! Ingredients:
2/3 cup butter (no substitutes) |
12 ounces creamy peanut butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 lb powdered sugar |
12 ounces milk chocolate chips |
1/2 cup shaven paraffin wax |
Directions:
1. Mix together butter, peanut butter, vanilla and powdered sugar. 2. Roll in 3/4 balls. 3. Melt chocolate chips and parafin in a double boiler, keep on low heat. 4. Dip balls into chocolate mixture. 5. Place on waxed paper and chill. 6. I use uncooked spaghetti to dip the balls in the chocolate. |
