Cajun spiced tilapia and shrimp smothered in homemade alredo sauce. Ingredients:
4 tilapia fillets |
16 shrimp |
cajun spices |
olive oil |
oregano |
lemon juice |
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Combine melted butter and lemon juice, and then lightly cover filets. Cover filets in cajun spices. Pan fry filets for two and a half minutes on each side on medium / high. Add olive oil and sauté shrimp in remains of the filets. 2. For the alfredo sauce, combine a stick of butter, cup of heavy cream, and cup of grated parmesan cheese in a small pot. Cook on medium / low or until everything is melted. Add a teaspoon of starch and water mix if sauce needs thickening. Add oregano for presentation / flavor. |
