A simple but tasty salsa that is great on tacos, eggs, rice and beans. This chili is kinda hot so watch it. Ingredients:
3 garlic cloves |
1/2 large white onion |
1/2 bunch cilantro |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
2 (15 ounce) cans of roasted chopped tomatoes |
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce |
1 (8 ounce) can water |
15 -20 dried red chile japones japanese chili peppers |
Directions:
1. Roast the 15 to 20 chili peppers in a slightly oiled pan. 2. Chop the onion and cilantro. 3. Sautee the chopped onion in oil. 4. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and puree. |
