Bta Lettuce Wraps For One |

A quick and light lunch or snack, not lacking in flavor ;) I really just eye-ball the sauce ingredients (measurements here are approximate), so play around with it yourself. Ingredients:
2 large romaine leaves |
4 strips turkey bacon |
1 slice havarti cheese, quartered |
4 thick slices of roma tomato |
1/2 avocado, sliced |
for the sauce |
1 tbsp ranch dressing |
1 tbsp agave nectar |
1 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1 tsp lemon juice |
1/2 tsp white wine vinegar |
1/2 tsp oregano |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a small frying pan until desired crispiness is reached. Pat dry with a paper towel. 2. Set out romaine leaves on a plate. 3. Layer bacon, cheese, tomato, and avocado on each leaf. 4. Whisk all of the sauce ingredients together and drizzle over your lettuce wraps. Enjoy! 5. -these are great served with sweet potato fries; which can be dipped in the ranch-lemon sauce! :) |
