Brussels Sprouts with Apples |

I like to use Fuji apples with this recipe. It's a great addition to a fall menu especially when apples are in their peak season. Ingredients:
1 cup diced apple |
1 pound brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered |
1/4 cup apple cider |
4 teaspoons olive oil |
2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 2. Stir the Brussels sprouts, apple, apple cider, olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper together in a baking dish until evenly mixed. 3. Bake in the preheated oven until the Brussels sprouts are tender, about 25 minutes. |
