Brussels Sprouts In Lemon Juice

BRUSSELS SPROUTS IN LEMON JUICE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Massey Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1981.
Ingredients:
20 ounce frozen brussels sprouts
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup sliced almonds toasted
Directions:
1. Cook sprouts according to package directions omitting salt then drain.
2. Place sprouts in a shallow casserole and keep warm.
3. Melt butter in saucepan then add mayonnaise, lemon juice and celery salt.
4. Beat with a wire whisk until smooth then cook over medium heat until hot stirring constantly.
5. Pour sauce over sprouts then sprinkle with cheese and almonds.
